Beyond Bed & Breakfast: A Luxurious Morning Ritual at Chtaura Park Hotel

Beyond Bed and Breakfast

There is something deeply restorative about waking somewhere that has thought about the morning before you do. At Chtaura Park Hotel, breakfast is not an afterthought tacked onto your stay — it is its own quiet ritual, designed to start the day the way the Beqaa Valley does: gently, generously, and with the light pouring in.

Wake to the View

Our Deluxe Rooms and Suites all open onto private balconies. Whether you face the gardens, the pool, or the mountains, the first thing you see is not a parking lot or a high-rise — it is a view that reminds you why you came. Open the doors. Let the air in. The mornings here are cooler than Beirut, even in summer, and the quality of the silence in the early hours is one of the things our regulars come back for.

"Breakfast at the Park is the part of the day I plan around. Manakish straight from the oven, fresh labneh, and a coffee that actually means something."

Two Ways to Eat

Take breakfast in the dining room and you'll find a full spread — Lebanese mezze for the morning, assorted manakish, eggs prepared the way you like them, a Lebanese cheese selection, fresh juices, and good coffee made properly. Eggs Benedict and Eggs Kawarma share table space with Foul Moudammas and Fattet Hummus. It is, in our view, the right way to do breakfast.

Or take it in your room. Our in-room dining team will set the tray with the things you ordered the night before, slide it onto your balcony or the small table by the window, and leave you to it. There is no faster way to feel like a guest again than to eat breakfast in a bathrobe with a view.

The Coffee, Specifically

If you've spent any time in this part of the world, you know that morning coffee carries weight. Ours is Turkish-style, brewed slowly, and served with a small piece of something sweet. The right way to drink it is unhurried, while the day decides what it wants to be.

Make the Most of the Morning

After breakfast, the gardens are at their best — mornings are cool, the loungers are empty, and a slow walk to the pool deck takes you past flowers you'll have missed at any other time of day. Some guests swim. Some read. Some go nowhere at all. The point of a good morning ritual is that you don't have to know what comes next.
